The Third Sunday of Advent

Today's Readings:
Today's Reflection:

The middle of Advent is celebrated as Gaudete (Rejoice) Sunday. We light the pink candle on our Advent wreaths.
Saint Paul reminds us of our commitment to preserving ourselves unblemished, so our hearts can welcome the Christ child.
John the Baptist was confronted by temple priests to justify his acts of redemption in Jordan.
John’s answer instructs us to focus on recognizing those whom our pride interferes with seeing them properly.
Those less fortunate than ourselves are in desperate need of our generosity and willingness to share.
Jubilee required the entire tribe of Israel to acknowledge God’s forgiveness required making a personal sacrifice.
