December 7 - Lean on Me

--Antiphon
The Lord proclaims:
Repent, the kingdom of God is upon you, alleluia.

--Isaiah 10:20-21

On that day the remnant of Israel, the survivors of the house of Jacob, will no more lean upon him who struck them; but they lean upon the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, in truth.

--Reflection

God created the Heavens and Earth, why do I think that my burdens are more than He can handle? Do I think that he doesn’t want to take on my burdens? Jesus came to give up His life for me. What burdens have I been afraid to bring to Christ?

--Intercessions

As I proclaim your coming, Lord, cleanse my heart of every vain desire.

Come, Lord Jesus

Lord, may the Church that you founded, proclaim your greatness to all peoples.

Come, Lord Jesus

Your law is a light to our eyes; let it protect those who trust in you.

Come, Lord Jesus

You allow the joys of your coming to be foretold by your Church, may I receive you with eager devotion.

Come, Lord Jesus

Our Father...
